Addressing Process

The Marion County 9-1-1 office is responsible for the establishment of 9-1-1 addresses within the unincorporated areas of Marion County, Illinois.  The County addressing is based on 400 possible addresses within one mile, or a new address every 13.2 feet.

This new address must be established before most utilities can hook up your service.  The 9-1-1 office must provide you with an Address Request Form before a new address can be established.  You can obtain an Address Request Form by calling the 9-1-1 office at (618) 548-3685, or you can download the Address Request Form, complete it, and either e-mail or send it to the 9-1-1 office:
