Addressing Process

The Marion County 9-1-1 office is responsible for the establishment of 9-1-1 addresses within the unincorporated areas of Marion County, Illinois.  The County addressing is based on 400 possible addresses within one mile, or a new address every 13.2 feet.

This new address must be established before most utilities can hook up your service.  The 9-1-1 office must provide you with an Address Request Form before a new address can be established.  The following link will take you to the Address Request Form. After completing the form, click on the Submit button and it will be emailed to Marion County 9-1-1. Please allow at least two business weeks (10 days) for notification of your assigned address.
